VOLUNTEER WITH US!
The heart and soul of the SFF Presents organization is the dedicated crew of volunteers who make everything we do possible. Thank you for your interest in joining our volunteer crew, here's how it works:
1. Create an account through Better Impact, if you haven't already (this account is permanent for current and future volunteer opportunities). If you've previously volunteered at any Sisters Folk Festival event, then you already have an account, username and password.
2. Once you've created an account, we'll send you email announcements with information on when volunteer sign-up begins, details on positions, and important dates.*
2025 volunteer shifts will open next summer!
All volunteers, regardless of their position, are expected to:
-
Represent SFF Presents with kindness and integrity.
-
Provide a valid email address and phone number for volunteer communications.
-
Use the Better Impact scheduling software.
-
Agree with SFFP's Participant Liability and Photo Release.
-
Have a positive attitude and be adaptable.
-
Refrain from smoking marijuana or consuming alcohol prior to or during your shift.
DISCLAIMER: Many of our volunteer positions require physical activity including standing, walking, and possibly lifting during your shift. Please respect your limitations when considering applying. Thank you for your interest!

What do volunteers get in exchange for their time & effort?SFF volunteers who commit to, and work, a minimum of 2 "festival shifts" or about 8-10 hours receive an All Events wristband that allows them access to all seven venues throughout the weekend when not volunteering (subject to venue capacity, as with all pass-holders). Training and pre-shift check-in do not apply to your volunteer hours. *Festival shifts only count towards the festival they are for, and do not count towards a different festival.
-
Is there a minimum age required to volunteer?Minors ages 16+ are eligible to volunteer with SFFP as long as they provide a signed waiver from a parent/guardian. Please reach out to Kaela Fox at kaela@sffpresents.org for details/waiver.

What is SFF Presents' COVID Policy?SFF Presents will only require mask wearing or proof of vaccination for event entry if required by local, state or federal regulation. Patrons, staff, crew, volunteers and performers may continue wearing masks at their personal discretion. SFFP recommends that high-risk individuals who choose to attend the festival continue to wear masks at this and in all public settings.
